Shauna Fung Yee is a Jamaican award-winning entrepreneurial consultant with expertise in particular business fields. A recipient of prestigious awards from US Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke for Outstanding Invaluable Service To The Community, Certificate Of Recognition from New York's mayor Eric Adams, and YGBA Power In Motion Women's Empowerment Awards. She has 21 years experience in radio: program producer, sales-marketing, and journalism. She's African Diaspora Development Institute Global Director of Culture, founded by Ambassador Arikana Chihombori-Quao.

Fung Yee is recognized as one of the most skilled and influential music business consultants in the Caribbean and is known for playing a vital role in helping popularize the now-widespread African music genre Afrobeats in the Caribbean since 2013. With a radio career and connections with the Caribbean’s top radio stars has been instrumental in distributing Afrobeats music, sensitising media and friends about the genre and the various artists.

She worked in the music industry as a music business consultant, publicist, A&R executive, and marketing and brand strategist. August 2024 marks her 20th year in music. Now she's focusing on her songwriting career, in addition to this, she's a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. Her songwriting skills have landed her a feature on Kenya’s and Africa’s renowned music star Blinky Bill's third album We Cut Keys 2, rated as 2024 Best Albums So Far by British magazine MixMag. With a diverse career, this has allowed her to connect and work with some of music’s powerhouse professionals and corporate figures globally. She’s publicist and marketing consultant to renowned Jamaican Reggae icon Freddie McGregor.

Fung Yee is CEO/founder of Down 2 Earth Productions, founded in 2004, dubbed Caribbean Home of Afrobeats and Latin—is the first and only music business agency in the Caribbean to represent premier African and Latin American artists along with African entertainment agencies since 2015. The fully integrated music agency successfully helped to strengthen the border between Africa and the Caribbean musically, also tapping into Latin American music market and connecting artists/producers for music projects. She's the founder of Down 2 Earth Agency, founded in 2020, a business consulting firm connecting Caribbean and African businesses for trade and investment opportunities, and is a member of Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association.
