Shaunak Patelis a Junior General Business Major at the Rawls College of Business. His focus is in the area of medicine; he has completed extensive coursework in the fields of Biology and Chemistry. Shaunak currently maintains a 4.0 GPA. He has clinically relevant research experience at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in the Department of Pharmacology and Neuroscience.
Shaunak will matriculate into medical school after completing his undergraduate degree in 2017. Shortly after completing Residency, he aspires to open a chain of private clinics in rural Texas areas. He hopes to one day to serve the needy and increase access to affordable health care for all.
