Shaun Hayes

A wealth manager at McElhenny Sheffield Capital Management in Texas, Shaun Hayes has more than 13 years of experience in the financial industry in the Fort Worth and Dallas areas. In his current position, Shaun Hayes supplies personalized investment advisory services to about 100 clients, guiding them in pursuing their financial goals and managing their risks.

Prior to joining McElhenny Sheffield, Mr. Hayes worked with Merrill Lynch, where he served as a senior financial advisor and substantially increased the assets he oversees. Previously, he served as vice president of AXA Advisors, LLC, where he started his career in finance.

Mr. Hayes managed his own landscape and lawn-maintenance business for over a decade prior to entering financial sservices, which he sold following his graduation from Texas Christian University. Shaun earned a bachelor's degree in entrepreneurial management and finance during his time at TCU. He also taught private drum lessons for several years as a percussion instructor with Swords Music Co.

A drum player, he plays regularly for Arlington Seventh-Day Adventist Church and with bands such as the Hardcore Troubadors. He also enjoys the study of herpetology, hiking, and participating in mission trips.
