Shaun Kunz

I am a husband, father, teacher, entrepreneur, volunteer, and activist living in Winter Springs, Florida. I co-founded a private school and am currently building a new learning community in Seminole County. Through other volunteer organizations, I have organized road cleanups bi-monthly in Lake Mary. I've built a chicken coop, and consider composting a hobby.

I believe there is a free-market, consensual, and voluntary solution to environmental stewardship. Private property rights are indelibly linked to responsibilities, as all rights are.

I am a staunch supporter of Home Rule. Seminole County's future will be decided by its residents.

As a private educator, I am eager to use my unbound resources, contacts, and experience to bring fresh new creative outreach activities to students, homeschooling co-ops, clubs and volunteers.

The small farms and yard gardners will have an ally in me. Over-regulation and stifling license costs can be eliminated, while protecting our beautiful county.
