Shaun Parsons

I am Shaun Parsons. Eclectic, crazy and loving every minute. I hail from a little town in the heart of Johannesburg, South Africa called Eldorado Park, or "Eldo's" as we so call it and dabble when and where I can in the art of Life. I'd go on listing inspiration, but truth be told, had it not been for my 'Oupa', Danny Miller, who single-handedly raised me in the ways of alluring serenades and cheap philosophy, I'd never be on this crazy beautiful path. ...and since every aspiring Musician has a day job, I'd probably be the proverbial slave to the system by day, to feed a nocturnal Rebel lurking within. ...and down on deep thought and 'weirdness' *assuming that means, NOT ‘normal’* ...and student to whomever and whatever I encounter. C'est la vie after all. ...and dabbler in the world of every possible style of music I've had the pleasure of putting an ear to, whether on a production, performance or just penning tip, having honed my craft with a few bands and now pursuing both a solo career and Single Dad-ism. Commercialism, cynicism and celebrity mean absolute zilch to me. Current projects include a compilation project I'm working on with a few friends I've met along the way. Entitled, "Bronze Street". Inspired by an eccentric childhood, electronic roots and eclectic influences. Watch this space!
