Shauny McElhenny
Shauny McElhenny is a graduate of the University of Alabama class of 2006, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and a minor in Italian. Shauny McElhenny went on to complete graduate work at Saint Xavier University in Chicago, Illinois, where she obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration in 2010. While there, McElhenny distinguished herself academically, winning an Academic Achievement Award and graduating cum laude with a 3.8 GPA. Shauny McElhenny loves to watch sports, particularly NASCAR. She remains a staunch supporter of her undergraduate alma mater’s football team, as well, and is a fan of the New York Yankees and the Baltimore Ravens. McElhenny places a high priority on keeping herself physically active. She stays in shape by running, weight lifting, and playing sports such as soccer and softball. She frequently runs 5K races, along with the occasional marathon. When not working out or playing sports, Shauny McElhenny enjoys reading. Her preferred selections are classics of mystery and human conflict. And Then There Were None and Death on the Nile by Agatha Christie are among McElhenney’s favorite books. Shauny McElhenny also enjoys Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes novels. An aficionado of classic rock music, McElhenny counts icons such as Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, and Creedence Clear Water Revival among her favorite musicians.
