My Story

Ever seen a woman and thought “I wish I could be a badass like her?”

Truth be told, I’ve done my share of things that fall into the badass category.

Doing presentations for Cabinet Ministers, high level officials and foreign aid agencies, just a few months into my first job after graduation.

Co-founding a political movement against corrupt leadership- including key players in the government at the time- WHILE working for the government.

Dating and marrying a blind man from a Muslim family, at a time when Islamophobia was in full swing in my community.

Starting a business during the worst economic crisis my country has ever faced.

But I wasn’t always like this.

Not too long ago, I was the girl who was so shy she couldn’t pick up the phone to call a pizza outlet.

I was afraid of loud noises, of rejection, failure, success, men, fire, taking the bus home, being too happy…basically, I was a big old anxious scaredy-cat.

It took me more than 10 years to heal myself, to discover my passion, power and purpose, and uncover the Lion Woman in me.

And now, as a personal development and transformation coach for women, I’m ready to help you do the same-but in much, much less time!.

About Me

I'm a certified life coach. My first business, Your English Coach, helped over 50 women gain confidence in themselves and their English speaking ability. Currently, I run Lion Woman, which is an international life coaching business on a mission to help 1 million women live their biggest dreams.

I'm also an independent political activist who stands for the empowerment of youth and women through clean politics.
