Shawn Beaird

After studying criminal justice/business law and completing a series of general education courses at Scott Community College. Shawn Beaird relocated to Normal, Illinois, to study business at Illinois State University. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management, with honors, in 2007. Over the course of Shawn Beaird’s career, he has overseen daily operations in an industrial maintenance atmosphere and served as an electrical/mechanical engineer and supervisor at Watco railroads.

Shawn Beaird currently serves in Bossier City, Louisiana, as Vice president of operations. His daily duties involve inspecting Gulf Coast regional facility’s while teaching/managing a team that can diagnose/inspect issues they might come across and ensuring that they meet all industry codes and Administration regulations.

When he isn’t working, Mr. Beaird enjoys being a student pilot, scuba diving, sky diving, riding his motorcycle/Jet Ski and dirt bikes with his son. A mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, he also volunteers at a local food pantry.
