Shawn Rebman
Mr. Shawn C. Rebman is a native of Penns Grove, NJ. He graduated from Rowan University in 2001. Mr. Rebman was a Scholar-Athlete at Wesley College (Football) and Rowan University (Baseball.) It was at Rowan where he received a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science with concentrations in Health Promotion & Fitness Management. Furthermore he has a post baccalaureate degree in Exercise Science from Rowan University with a concentration in Health and Physical Education as well as his K-12 teachers certificate in both NJ & Delaware. He is currently enrolled at Wilmington University where he will be receiving a Masters Degree in School Leadership and Administration in the summer of 2013. Previously, Mr. Rebman earned his Masters in School Counseling (2011) from Wilmington University. Mr. Rebman started his teaching career in the Health & Phys Ed. Department at Marion T. Academy Charter School in 2005. He then moved on to teach and serve as the Health & Physical Education teacher at the Alloway Township School from 2006 – 2008. For the past four years, Mr. Rebman has been teaching Adaptive Health & Physical Education at the Alternative Programs for Salem County Special Services School District where he also serves as the schools Guidance Counselor. Mr. Rebman is the Co-coordinator of Crisis Prevention within the district as well as his schools Anti-Bullying Coordinator. In this capacity, he teaches, counsels and facilitates many roles within the field while also serving as a part-time Child Development Specialist and Case Manager for the districts Early Intervention Program. Fueled by a pasion for excellence, Mr. Rebman is recognized nationally as a Certified Health Education & Performance Enhancement Specialist, and believes the profession of teaching and learning is a continuous journey.
