I have 15+ years experience in professional software development and engineering, covering Build/Release Management, Configuration Management, Automation and Scripting Processes and Management. The majority of my career in Information Technology has been focused around the Software Development Cycle. I have been responsible for an end to end process that includes all Stakeholders from Customer to Product Support.
My most major accomplishment was the complete development of a TFS/MSBuild/Installshield SDC for my current employer. I designed and implemented a complete end-to-end solution that involves but is not limited to Version Control, Nightly builds, CI Builds, communications to appropriate Stakeholders, and the formal management and documentation of the build RFC’s. I not only accomplished and implemented the SDC for my employer but was also responsible for training Development, QA and Support in the new processes.
I enjoy a role that constantly challenges me to keep up with current technologies and methodologies as related to Development, Operating Systems and Cloud based computing. I enjoy interaction and collaboration with multiple departments across an organization. I take pride in my work and always work as hard as I can to ensure deadlines are met. I am experienced in Microsoft technologies and Agile software development. I am familiar with ITIL Release Management.
I am well skilled in VB.NET, Visual Studios, TFS/MSBuild, IIS, SQL, Windows OS(95-8.1, server2000-2012) and I am able to manipulate, install, and configure all of these technologies programmatically. I believe my current skill-set and training would be an asset to your company. I can be reached at 801-471-9811 or [email protected] for further questions or to arrange a job interview.
