Shawn Armstrong

I was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio in a neighborhood known for drugs and crime but that didn't define me. Somehow I made it out alive and without a criminal record. I was educated by the Youngstown city public school system and can vividly remember one of my 5th grade teachers telling me that I would never amount to anything. Despite such degrading words to a 5th grader, I somehow managed to make it all the way to graduate school and now hold a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration and work in leadership at a local hospital in Metro-Detroit. My life has been nothing short of a blessing and I attribute all of my success and accomplishments to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ because without him I would be nothing. Today, I am a proud husband to a beautiful wife, a lover of life and people and a man on a mission to help bring value, peace and abundance to the lives of all of those in need.

Simply put, I am a man with a genuine passion and gift for helping people. I see potential in all and truly believe that anyone can change. I also believe that we all need a helping hand in life in order to reach goals and success. Just as businesses use consultants to gain an outside perspective of their situation, we also need someone from the outside of our circle to consult with regarding our life issues, challenges and decisions.

I profess that I do not have all the answers, I have not experienced everything in life and I am far from a perfect person. But I can tell you that I have acquired a wealth of wisdom, knowledge and understanding from what I have experienced in life. I know about rough beginnings turned victorious endings, I understand that your past circumstances do not determine your future outcomes and I have learned that it is unwise to judge a thing/person before it reaches full fruition or growth. While I am not a certified life coach according to the accrediting bodies, the God given gift that I possess for the edification and benefit of others certifies me to do what I do.

I have a heart for all people of all races, cultures, backgrounds, economic status and beliefs. My mission is to help you get over the hump, break the cycle, gain confidence, build the vision, overcome fears, cross the finishline or whatever it is that will add value and or purpose to your life.
