Shawna Adams

I was Born in Moab, Utah in 1982. I grew up most of my life in Battle Mountain, Nevada, a very small town along Interstate 80. I still like to call Moab my home away from home, because it is a wonderful place to visit and it is a very scenic place. I am the younest of one sister and one brother who passed away when I was 15. That was the biggest life changer for me. I lived with my father all through high school. He was a wonderful teacher of life and very inspiring. I graduated in 2001. I spent some time in Elko, Nevada while going to the Community College, where I took an Acting class, some Psychology, Sociology, Geology, Arts, and History. I was trying to figure out what I wanted to be. My dream job has always been to produce, direct, write, or just Entertain people. I looked into some colleges and moved to Tempe, Arizona where I obtained my Associates of Arts in Media Arts. Family matters brought me back to my home town after graduating in 2006. I moved back home into my fathers home when he decided to move to his home town of Moab, Utah for the last few years of his life, until he lost his battle with Lung Cancer, another life changing event for me. Since his death I have been working in the Mining Industry, it has seemed to do me well. I am an Environmental Technician, which means I sample the ground water to check for any contaminates in it and around the mine site to make sure that we can mine safely and properly with out contaminating the areas around us for wildlife and adventerous people to roam. I like my job, I have just always had bigger dreams for myself. I like to travel, camp, play sports, ride four-wheelers, and Jeep in the hills. I am currently enrolled in Full Sail University - Online, fullfilling my dream of receiving a Bachelors of Science in Entertainment Business. I am basically a small town girl with a big city dreams.
