Shawna Frechette

Hi! I'm Shawna. I've been everything from a business development specialist to a marketer and a community manager to a project manager.

You're probably thinking 'lots of people have had those titles though, what makes you special?' Well, I'm glad you asked. What my line list of work experience doesn't tell you about me are my three workplace superpowers:

1. I am incredibly passionate about being the glue in a company. In additional to rocking my own job responsibilities, I love to be a resource to my coworkers in any capacity - training, educating, being a helping hand. I am always rooting for success - for myself, my coworkers, and my company.

2. I have the unique ability to learn about each individual's personality and work preferences and use that to collaborate with them in the best way possible. Not only is this helpful in a one-on-one setting, but also in groups where personalities may clash. Part project management, part people management.

3. I like to know why. Many people simply learn how to do tasks and execute them. I feel this is limiting potential. Knowing the reasoning behind something allows you to expand your knowledge about the company's practices and possibly improve upon them. It is because of this, I often lead and manage change in the workplace.
