In his role at Faith Temple Church, Pastor Shawn Baker takes on various administrative duties, overseeing staff and managing the organization’s budget. Under Pastor Shawn Baker’s deft leadership, Faith Temple Church has vastly expanded in the past several years, establishing two new campuses in addition to the original location in Middlesboro, Kentucky. Moreover, Faith Temple Church continues to provide for those in need, utilizing increased revenue procured with Pastor Shawn Baker’s assistance to fund a number of charitable programs. Pastor Shawn Baker and the congregants of Faith Temple Church devote time end energy to commendable causes such as the Faith Pack program, providing nutritious meals each Friday to children within the local community whose families lack the resources to do so.

Moreover, Pastor Shawn Baker leads a yearly initiative during the holiday season in which church members prepare and serve a Thanksgiving dinner for al those who wish to attend. Outside of his direct work with Faith Temple Church, Pastor Shawn Baker acts as a speaker for First Priority Tri-States, a nationwide movement of devoted Christians who seek to connect with the younger generation. Also taking part in the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, Pastor Shawn Baker facilitates a mutually beneficial partnership between the church and members of the Jewish faith. In his personal life, Pastor Shawn Baker derives great pleasure from studying scripture and reading the works of Watchman Nee, a religious leader who spent more than 20 years in prison because the Chinese government did not approve of his spiritual views. Educated at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee, Pastor Shawn Baker earned a Bachelor of Arts before joining Faith Temple Church in 2004.
