I use my degree in Education, in combination with my Master’s in Personal Financial Planning, in an alternative way to traditional teaching. I have several years of professional services experience in aiding individuals and families on their financial matters providing information related to budgeting, money management, debt management, housing issues, and consumer education. I have previous financial counseling experience in a one on one and group settings. I possess and demonstrate excellent financial knowledge in basic finances dealing specifically with issues such as credit card spending, debt reduction, cash flow, mortgage, insurance and retirement planning as well as other current financial trends such as predatory lending, eldercare, social security, college and retirement funding. I have had the opportunities to work with children and adults of all ages and abilities while presenting workshops and seminars on a variety of financial topics in public schools, churches, and various non-profit organizations throughout the community. I demonstrate excellent communication skills, oral and written as well as case management skills. I exhibit the ability to convey financial information effectively in a limited setting in order to communicate solutions and assessments to motivate clients to a more stable financial future.
