Shawn Neal

I am currently the IT Manager for ANIMART, Inc. I also serve as one of the members of the management team for the company. I pretty much manage everything technology and telecommunications related for the companies. With my other web and design experience, I also tend to help with graphic design, web, video, social media projects. Needless to say, I stay very busy and enjoy that each day presents new challenges and opportunities to learn and grow. I still own and operate a company called Tech Design Group, LLC, a web services and IT consulting company that also acted as a parent company for some blogs I ran. But because of a growing family and increased responsibilities at ANIMART, I don't really do much with it anymore. In my free time I am spending time with my family and friends. I never would have thought I would enjoy being a father as much as I do, my son and daughter can always brighten even the worst of my days. I enjoy camping, a little fishing, really like playing poker, some outdoor sports here and there, building stuff, movies, grabbing a drink with a friend every now and then, and if you know me you definitely know I am a gadget freak. Yes, you've seen me with a satchel - not a man purse or murse or whatever - a satchel. Thats pretty much where I keep all my portable toys besides my 2 phones (a Palm Pre and HTC EVO 4G) - an iPad, Kindle, smartpen, iPod nano, PSP, bluetooth headsets, chargers, etc... and my lipstick - KIDDING! Have to be able to make fun of myself sometimes. When I'm sitting around watching TV or a movie I also am sucking up more information about design, internet, computers, gadgets (especially the Pre) and a little dabbling in programming. Whats with the name "cyberhomie"? Back in middle school when I started getting big into computers, I figured I needed a handle. I was also big into hip/hop also at the time. So I came up with the name cyberhomie. It has stuck with me since. Recently I have thought about shedding it since I think its somewhat juvenile sometimes, but the name is unique to me. Google it... besides a few strays, its all me.
