No stranger to the golf course, Costello has also won various championships and competitions in the sport, including: Colombia Open Golf Championship (1999 USA), Mexican National Junior Championships (1999, 2000 and 2001), Mexican National Junior Team (2001) and North American Junior Championships (Dallas TX, 2001).
