Shawndenine Lomax-Mosley has over 25+ years experience in the healthcare industry. Shawndenine's expertise encompasses consulting services on medical practice management, compliance and initiation of educational programs that provides training on medical documentation with appropriate coding of procedures and diagnosis. Shawndenine Co-Founded the Nassau Central Local Chapter for American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) in 2006 to help mentor new and upcoming coders. With Medical coding being a highly recognized, in-demand, lucrative profession in the country at this time, and with Shawndenine’s many affiliations and continuous dedication to assist healthcare professionals in their own growth and development in the coding field, she founded a school for medical coding called Healthcare Career Extenders,Inc (HCE) in 2009. Shawndenine has developed several courses including a Medical Coding Course which, has helped well over 800 students prepare, pursue and pass the national certification putting them on the path of fulfilling their dreams of becoming Certified Professional Coders (CPC). This National Certification has allowed them to go on to have successful careers.
