Shawn Grimes

I've been doing iOS development for about the last 2 years or so. I am a co-author of the book, "iOS 5 Recipes" and I've organized a number of iOS workshops in Baltimore, Atlanta, and Denver. I am a co-founder of the Baltimore Mobile group.

Before mobile development, I had a pretty varied background. My main focus for the last 14 years has been IT Security. Before IT Security, I was doing web development, mostly with PHP and MySQL. I've also been a server admin maintaining Unix/Linux systems.

Boring tech stuff out of the way, I love photography (my wife and I used to run a photo studio on the side), street performers, and side shows.
