I was born and raised in the “Big Smoke” Toronto, ON., as such I've witnessed firsthand Toronto’s growth from “city” to an “urban mecca” with all its sprawl and everything in between. Growing up in the likes of Toronto there is no shortage of options or adventures, that said competition is fierce, nor does anyone write “their own ticket” without a good amount of legwork. My mother worked in administration within the construction (flooring) trade, my grandparents worked in the garment district, which after retiring had a home-based tailoring business. It was that business and interaction that would lay the foundation for what would become my early markup of engaging people, character types, personalities, and building a loyal clientele.

I began working before all my peers, as the product of a single parent that was just reality. From tossing newspapers, stocking confectionery or slinging CD’s, it taught me accountability, responsibility but moreover there was more to be had. My business fundamentals came through my enrolment in college, laying the groundwork in conjunction with my sales acumen; as such I secured my first corporate role shortly thereafter.

My experiences have provided me with a “Swiss Army” of skill sets. From working with Start-ups to Enterprise, engaging Mid-Market to Fortune accounts, my passion not only Technology and Software but the Sales and Business Development within. I still approached everything with the mindset of “this is your only chance” and while deathly terrified of failure, I’m of the mindset in doing something right, the first time.

My body of work from National Accounts to Management has not only made me privy to a host of scenarios, but moreover have ingrained not only key sales fundamentals but the life essentials whereas setting expectations is the benchmark of relationships, expect the unexpected and to never settle.
