As a natural communicator of 15 years, I am not afraid of a deadline or subject. My volunteering for a cancer nonprofit led to a role as a Communications Manager where I raised brand awareness by creating and managing content for the website through blogs, Twitter, and media relations. My background in journalism taught me the discipline to write for a variety of target audiences across digital platforms while translating difficult information into conversational language. I can ask the right questions of a subject expert to generate useful information.
