Shawn Singh Behal is a Public Relations professional currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Strategic Communications.Outside of his professional passions, Shawn Behal is an avid sports card collector, podcast listener and cross country athlete.

From the music that acts as his soundtrack while running to the sports podcasts he listens to for motivation, Shawn Singh Behal is a full-time media consumer. The truth is, everyone in the world consumes media in some facet — every single day. It’s part of the average person’s daily life, even if they don’t set out to make consuming media part of their regular routine. While pursuing his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication Studies at Towson University in Baltimore, MD, Behal launched a project that made this universal concept of media consumption a focal point. That project has since transformed into a blog series where the Communications professional provides commentary on independent films that challenge mainstream productions.
