Shayla Villarreal
Motivated, involved, and committed are three words that describe Shayla Villarreal. As a student at Madison High School she has committed her time to helping others. Being a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, and Voices for Change has given her the opportunity to reach out to others and make a difference. The past three years she has been class secretary putting in a voice to make great changes in her class. Not only is Shayla involved in these clubs, but she is also a three sport athlete. She has been Captain for the Varsity Volleyball team the past two years and the Varsity Track and Field team last year. Achieving good grades and being an athlete she has received the Scholar Athlete Award multiple times. Every since she was young teenager she was involved in volunteer work. Shayla has delivered Meals on Wheels, rang bells for the Salvation Army, worked at the Red Cross Blood drive, helped at Special Olympics, and Special Prom.
