Shay Ada

Shay Ada (Pronounced Shey Ada) is a young, contemporary Songwriter and Singer. Nigerian, German Heritage, with native latin american roots, born and grew up in Karlsruhe, (Southern) Germany. She was known as a "music box" from an early age and started singing in a church (CGC) located in Karlsruhe at the age of 11. Besides that, she’s also a part of a Gospel Choir called „The Good News Family“.

Since her testimony, she has been writing songs about what she feels in her heart, her faith, Love for God and life experiences. She describes her songs as transparent, honest and diverse with a ’spiritual’ essence for the Soul. She is motivated by different music genres like: RnB, Soul, Jazz, Reggae, Afro Beat and she is musically inspired by old school artists like: Lauryn Hill, Faith Evans but also from contemporary artists like Pj Morton.

According to her Statement, she gets her greatest musical influence from Gospel music, as well as various Gospel artists from different countries.
