My name is Shay Jordan, I am 17 years old and I am currently a student at East Norfolk Sixth Form College in my first year of A Levels in Mathematics, Physics and Sociology. Last academic year I graduated from The Benjamin Britten Music Academy with 10 GCSEs, 5 of which were A's and 5 of which were B's. Although these are all passes, I was disappointed with these results for I had been predicted to get mainly A*s and I came out with none. I have taken a lesson from this and plan to work a lot harder over the next few years in order to prevent any further disappointment in my education and career.

At BBMA, I played the role of vice chair at the student council and I also chaired the Eco Group which I later decided to expand across the Waveney Region of East England under the name of "Waveney Eco". During the time that the eco group was part of BBMA, I led the group to winning the education category of the Bernard Matthews Youth Awards through attracting the attention of those who run the awards via the group's website and by communicating with those people in order to show them what the group have done and plan to do in the future.

Outside of school, I have an interest in photography and have won multiple awards several times for my photography. I also enjoy graphic design, video production and web design and have an interest in technology. I spend a lot of my time using my skills in these fields to produce media. On top of this, I have created and run many websites such as the Waveney Eco website as well as my personal blog with a worldwide following that has been built up since I created it at the age of 11.

I am a second degree black belt in the Korean traditional martial art of Kuk Sool Won and have been training in the art since the age of 5 (A
