I can honestly say pets are my passion, and have found myself drawn to jobs within the pet industry. Not only do I have a large overall knowledge base about pets, I strive to keep myself abreast of current industry trends and best practices, in particular in the pet nutrition field. I have taken many seminars with Sales Representatives over the years. I have completed Veterinary Assistant Training at the West Coast College of Health Care, where I took my preceptorships at the Surrey and Abbotsford branches of the SPCA, Abbotsford Veterinary Hospital and Canine Aqua Management Hydrotherapy pool in Errington BC. I continued my education with certifications in Animal Nutrition (Canine, Feline, Herptile, Avian and Small animal) through the University of California at Davis.
