Shayna Humphrey, M.Ed. has over 15 years of experience in designing and delivering executive education courses for clients including HCA, Johnson & Johnson, Amsurg, Exxon-Mobil, AIG, and Sony Music.

In addition to her role as an adjunct professor at Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management, Shayna also serves as an instructor for The Scarlett Leadership Institute.

Her work focuses in the areas of

  • Leadership development through Emotional Intelligence
  • Management coaching
  • Effective business writing and executive presentation skills

In the course of her career, Shayna was hired to create a corporate university for a large medical system comprised of nearly 2000 employees. This effort resulted in measurable improvements in patient satisfaction and customer service. The Gallup Organization recognized this education initiative as a "best practice" and invited Shayna to present a review of the successful initiative at Gallup's National Healthcare Summit.

Shayna earned her undergraduate degree in English and sociology from Vanderbilt University and a master’s degree in education with an emphasis on organizational psychology from the University of Virginia.
