My biggest passion in life is traveling. If I could visit a different city every month I would. I love experiencing new things and learning about new cultures. Going to places that are so different from home is humbling. It gives me a greater appreciation for life and all the wonders that we are privileged enough to experience. Every once in a while you will hear the expression "it's a small world". I have honestly never heard a more accurate statement. It still amazes me how similar I am, a 24 year old girl from Medford, Massachusetts, to people I have met from every corner of the world. I owe my love of travel to my mother. She is an amazing woman who adopted me from China when I was 6-months old. So while other babies had probably only seen toy planes, I had already mastered the art (anyone who has been on a flight this long knows it is not an easy task) of surviving a 13 plus hour international flight. In my mere 24-years of life I have seen some of the most amazing places in the world. I visited Pompeii, the Great Wall of China, Neuschwawnstein Castle, and the Vatican. I have walked up the steps of Notre Dame as well as climed the ancient steps of Chichen Itza. I am so greatful for these experiences because it has opened my eyes to how beautiful the world is and made me a truly passionate person.
