I grew up in the sprawl of metro-Atlanta, earned my degree by the Savannah river, and now I’m telling digital stories in the mountains of Chattanooga.

My approach to design, whether it’s a website or a documentary film, always begins with careful consideration of my audience. The rest grows from there.

The most job satisfaction, and the most personal satisfaction I get from my work comes from projects that function to propel a social, political, or environmental cause. It’s not just about the image, it’s about the message.

I am a member of that generation which grew up with the internet, and saw it also grow from quagmire of strange personal pages to the new indelible human right. Everything I make ends up online somewhere, so it should be able to speak for itself.
