Sheba Ramsey

Hi Everyone

My name is Sheba but my friends and family call me, Sheebs. I live and work in a small town in Southeastern KY. I am a transplanted conch turned hillbilly that came here, well let's just say a long time ago. I was born on a navy base in Key West, Florida. My family moved back here when my dad was discharged from the service.

I love all things outdoors and I tell everyone I meet that I am sure my corner of heaven will contain a beach and ocean. I have had the opportunity to share my life with four wonderful children whom I adore, and four short years ago I was blessed with a granddaughter that lights up my world. I have been married now to my best friend for fourteen wonderful years. He also likes things outdoors and hunts or fishes about twenty days out of each month. Maybe, that's why he is still my best friend and why I think our marriage is wonderful. He also teaches at the same school where I work, so we see each other a lot.

I have been teaching now for almost eighteen years and I have taught a variety of grades and subjects. Currently, I teach middle school reading and I just love my job. Especially when I see the students getting excited about a story they are reading.
