Shedrack Erhabor
Software Engineer, System Engineer, and Architect in Warri
I’m Shedrack Erhabor, a systems engineer and software architect building the foundations that power reliable, local-first software.
I specialize in low-level systems programming with Rust and am currently creating Ovie — my own programming language and ecosystem designed for performance, simplicity, and independence in resource-constrained environments.
My work focuses on:
• Systems design & architecture
• Backend infrastructure & developer platforms
• Local-first and offline-capable technologies
• High-performance, secure, and maintainable codebases
I’m particularly passionate about building software that lasts — solutions that work effectively even with limited connectivity, tight budgets, and high reliability demands. Whether it's crafting efficient runtimes, optimizing system layers, or rethinking how programming languages can better serve real-world constraints, I thrive at the intersection of theory and practical engineering.
Previously, I've worked on various software projects and contributed to the developer community through writing, open source, and teaching.
Currently open to interesting collaborations, consulting opportunities, and roles in systems programming, Rust development, backend architecture, or developer tooling — especially projects with real impact in Africa or emerging markets.
If you're working on performance-critical systems, local-first applications, or building the next generation of developer tools, let’s connect. I’m always excited to exchange ideas with fellow engineers and builders.
Outside of code, I enjoy good music, football, thoughtful design, and continuous learning across science and technology.
