Katelyn Sheehan

Hire me, give me a bit of guidance, then watch me. I’m an ambitious and driven graduate of the University of Wisconsin - River Falls who is ready and eager to start her career. While finishing my bachelors degree in Business Management and minor in Environmental Studies I took on an internship (which at the time of hiring had an expiration date) in managing the marketing and social media aspects of a small business and turned it into my current part time position. Along with engaging and expanding The Purple Tree's general market, I have also taken the initiative to begin my certification as a Project Manager at the University of Minnesota, and expect to finish before the end of the year. I believe that my education as well as my past and current work experience has given me the developed skills and knowledge to excel as a business woman and become outstanding potential company team member.

In my short years, I’ve climbed mountains (both literally and figuratively), wrangled lobsters, developed a pretty decent golf swing, and have become an explorer of great cities, food, cultures, and people. I have been blessed with great family and friends and have been graced with the presence of wonderful dogs who gave my family love after we gave them a forever home. I consider myself to be an environmentalist who simply believes in recycling and going organic when necessary. I truly feel that the best is yet to come, and I look forward to both, what my future career holds for me, and to what I can do for my future career.
