Sheerah Collins
Artist, Teacher, and Musician in Georgia
Sheerah Collins is a native of Indian Trail, North Carolina which is located on the outskirts of Charlotte, North Carolina. She comes from a family of musicians and singers. Sheerah was exposed to music at a very early age.
She won the title of America’s High School Idol in Greensboro, North Carolina and she decided to pursue a music career at her prestigious home by the sea: Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia. In 2009, she graduated from Hampton with a BA in music emphasizing vocal performance.
After moving to Georgia with her husband, Sheerah won the title of Milledgeville Idol in November 2014 and immediately began writing for her solo music project as well as album. She has also been apart of live recordings and obtained various other awards.
Her ultimate desire is to instill in others what was imparted in her: the free gift of music that expresses a unique language of its own, but has the power to encourage, inspire, and heal.
