Hello, My name is Martin Sheerin. Until recent retirement, have spent my years working as a photographer in Ireland and the US. My work has appeared in The Irish Times, The Times of London, The New York Times, The Melbourne Age and a lot of newspapers and magazines in between. LightUpMyPhotos.com was created when a friend kept phoning me asking how she could photograph this or photograph that or what gear she should use that so her photos could look better. I began my career as a photographer on the Aran Islands, off the west coast of Ireland. The joy of capturing those dramatic black and white images led to a lifetime of satisfying work. There is something magic about making your interaction with a landscape permanent.

LightUpMyPhotos was created when a friend kept phoning me asking how she could photograph this or photograph that or what gear she should use that so her photos could look better. If you have a car you’re proud of, eventually you’re going to want to take some memorable—and sharable—photos of the wonderful machine. You can, of course, take it to a cool spot, snap some images with your smartphone, and be done.
