Afobabi Oluwasegun Paul aka shegsAYELABALU Born December 3 at Saint Petersburg Private Hospital,Alimosho L/Gvt.Lagos State , Nigeria,
He started his educational career at Peto Nursery and Primary School Ilaro Ogun State, Nigeria starting with Creche to the class of Basic 5 with which he obtained his primary school certificate.
He then further his studies by schooling at the Quine Unic College Sango otta Ogun State where he obtained his JSSCE(Junior Secondary School Certified Examination) certificate and at Federal Polytechnic Ilaro where he studied Computer Science in the Faculty of Applied Science in the higher institution where he also obtained his OND & HND certificate. He started his music career at the age of 5yrs and he is much loaded with amazing talents in music
He was given a name ‘sHeGs’ which was derived from his name Oluwasegun and more also he plays different kinds of percussive instruments which makes people believes be was born to play drums . He also plays other instruments like Piano, and some other percussive musical instruments but major on drums.
His drumming style is very inspiring, with rhythmic illusions and advance concepts as a whole and of all creative and groovy.
In 2019 he has started a musician community named ‘DrumGURUZ’ with God's vision for him to make much more impact across the globe and use the forum as an aid or channel which draws musicians closer to God,
He was popularly known for his talents, dedication, tone and his sound that comes with high dexterity in his rhythm and his passion towards music has been amazing. SHEGS and has worked with great artiste and musical bands.
