Mahnoor Sheikh

I am an aspiring journalist and a professional singer in my bathroom. I am currently studying at Ryerson University School of Journalism in Toronto, Canada while working to prefect the art of sandwich making at Subway. I squeeze in time between studying and working, to gawk at the creations made on the Food Network as I am a huge foodie. Originally wanting to be a professional chef, I see myself as a bird (how poetic); I fly in the direction that the wind takes me. From changing my career path a hundred times to bluntly deciding on wanting to take a year off to 'find myself' I have finally chosen on my (hopefully) future career in broadcasting in the food industry. Along with this, as a journalist, I hope to break the hard shell of stereotypes around the world. I would like to give the unheard a voice.
