Sheila Chaney

Originally from Olongapo City, Philippines, Mrs. Chaney traveled the world with the U.S. Navy for 9 years before settling down in Union County in 2004. After 3 weeks from graduating from Altoona Area High School in Pennsylvania, she followed in her father's footsteps and was shipped to boot camp in Great Lakes, Illinois in the summer of 1995. Thankful to have served, she was able to live in Virginia, Florida, Texas, Puerto Rico, and Japan.

Mrs. Chaney was honorably discharged in 2004 and was a stay-at-home mom for 2 years. She earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2008.

She happily serves the Union County Public School system as an administrative assistant to the Director of Staff Development since 2006.

Mrs. Chaney is married to Kevin, a Union County native and a U.S. Marine veteran, for 16 years. She is also a mom to 2 boys, Austin and Alex (Union County Public Schools students) and a 2nd mom to a Shih-Tzu, named Aang.
