Sheila Thomas is a licensed Practitioner at the Heart and Soul Center of Light in Oakland, CA, an affiliate of the Centers for Spiritual Living (formerly known as the United Church of Religious Science) in Golden, Colorado. She completed practitioner licensing in 2003 and has facilitated spiritually focused workshops, classes and seminars for over ten years in the San Francisco Bay Area.

She has taught Science of Mind classes on Financial Freedom, Visioning and Practitioner Studies. In addition to one-on-one spiritual counseling, Ms. Thomas also leads one to two day gatherings known as “Days of Exploration” for individuals going through personal and/or professional transitions. Ms. Thomas’s primary interest is to fulfill her purpose to empower and inspire herself and others to live their lives from the inside out. As an attorney with her own plaintiffs’ employment and civil rights practice in Oakland, California, Ms. Thomas is also interested in the use of spiritual principles and tools to address social justice issues.
