Let's also add that I absolutely love learning and have taught myself the major components of Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, Photoshop, web design and photo-editing along with taking online courses in social media, administrative support functions (and skills) and customer service. And I have followed up with actual coursework in many of these areas. If there is something I desire to learn, my goal is always to learn it and if possible, to teach it to someone, as well.

My previous experiences have included a teaching assistantship and mentoring at a community college and tutoring at a State College. Substitute teacher and a contract teaching position.

Before that I garnered office experience from being a dental assistant, dental receptionist and dental office manager with that occassional part time position in customer service or retail. I began my education as a dental assistant student and worked my way into office management where I stayed until I entered a degree program.

One of my greatest prides is having the capacity to be culturally sensitive and to understand diversity. This partly due to my study abroad experience and partly due to my personality and character. At this point in my life, I am truthful and I am about growth and would much rather have a person hurt my feelings for a moment and let me know how they really feel, rather than destroy trust for a lifetime. On the other hand, this means that you can expect me to be forthright with you at all times, about myself, my ethics and any other situation.

Currently, I am seeking employment outside of the home. I have worked at home for several years for family reasons but am now available to join a professional team.
