For over 17 years, Shel has been helping brands and organizations find new ways to learn about and engage people and culture. She has a keen focus on digital (social, web, mobile) as a means to connect people to ideas and services that hopefully add real value to their lives. She has worked across many industries , in many roles, creating campaigns, products, and services. She’s also had a number of operational roles developing strategic tools for social listening, community learning, digital ethnography, and process innovation. Most recently she served as Senior Vice President, Digital Strategy for Saatchi & Saatchi.
Her latest project Collision Works is a boutique hotel and community center built around stories. It is growing in Detroit, Michigan.
Shel loves music, sailing, thought experiments, life experiments, and kale.
