I am a visual artist and live in Northern NSW, Australia.

In the studio I employ a mixed media practice including: Drawing, printmaking, oil, acrylic and watercolour painting, photography, digital print and video. My work is included in state and regional collections including the National Gallery of Australia, The Queensland Art Gallery and the Queensland State Library, Brisbane, as well as many private collections. My work is featured in New Art VI, Neville Drury, Craftsman House, 1992, and ‘Critical Mass – Printmaking Beyond the Edge’ by Richard Noyce, 2010.

The consistent theme that I have engaged in over the last 20 years has been ‘the science of whereabouts’ which dips in and out of exploring ideas about place, placement and what place means and cultural identity/geography.

I was born in 1955, Malawi (formerly Nyasaland ), Africa. I came to Australia in 1972 and moved to the Northern Rivers NSW in 1982. I studied printmaking at Southern Cross University and completed a PhD, ‘Unpacking my library – stories of how we have understood the world’, in 2000.
