I love teaching business and financial education. Teaching Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses bring me joy because they combine my experience in business and finance with my passion for education and desire to explore the intersectionality of race, wealth and gender in society.

Being a teen parent decades ago and a first-generation college student, I was fortunate enough to have teachers who changed my life for the better. Every day that I teach is a blessing and I am grateful for the opportunity not only to teach but to learn and engage with the next generation. I love making a positive difference in the lives of kids.
