Shelby White

I am a 20 year old student studying Film and Creative Writing at the University of Southern California. One day I will become a Television showrunner, producing one-hour dramas through my own production company.

With this dream, I have obtained internships with companies such as BET Networks, Telemundo Media and Entertainment One where I have gained experience in script coverage and development, production development and working on professional movie sets with $500,000+ budgets.

While interning and keeping up with my studies, I have been involved with USC's student newspaper, the Daily Trojan, as a lifestyle writer and later hired as the lifestyle assigments editor, covering events and writing feature articles interviweing people such as Justin Timberlake, Anthony Mackie and Kasi Lemmons. I am currently a Senior Producer for USC's television station, Trojan Visison, for the morning talk show "The Morning Brew."

With a lot of expereicne in television development, broadcast and production from working with executive and line producers on film sets to providing coverage for scripts up for acquistion from Cannes and LA Film Fest, I am ready for my start in this industry.
