Hello!
My name is Shelby Nelson. I am a 2010 graduate of Fatima Osage R-III. During high school I was a member of three clubs all four years. I joined FCCLA, FBLA, and Art Club. During my junior and senior years of high school I was on the yearbook commitee. My senior year I was elected as the yearbook president. While being the president, I had to oversee that everyone was doing all of their work and meeting their deadlines. Proofreading was also very important. In the other clubs I wasn't elected for any positions, but I attended all of the meetings and was an active member.
Once I graduated high school in 2010 I attended Lincoln University in Jefferson City for one year. I decided that wasn't the route that I wanted to take so I transfered to Columbia College's online campus. By doing this I can work full time as well.
In my spare time when I am not working or in school, I enjoy being around my family and/or friends. My weekends are normally spend outside doing ANYTHING; whether it's just going out to our shed and watching television (especially the Cardinals right now) or riding four wheelers, there is always something to do around where I live. I like to be spontaneous and randomly go on weekend trips. In February I ended up going with three of my friends to Florida for the weekend for a music festival. That was a 26 hour drive! Spontaneity keeps life interesting!
