Hello! My name is Shelby Petrie and I am a junior at Quinnipiac University. I am majoring in public relations and minoring in business.

I am a resident assistant for my University's Office of Residential Life. In this position I am directly responsible for 42 residents. However, I must work to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the residential population at large. This role requires me to act as a resource, friend, mentor, community builder, and policy enforcer.

I am also a student ambassador for my University's Office of Undergraduate Admissions. In this position I am responsible for giving campus tours, responding to university mail and phone calls, as well as handling a diverse array of paperwork.

I have an insatiable desire to learn and grow and I look forward to discovering what the field of public relations holds for my developing professional life.
