Shelby Sutton

My name is Shelby Sutton, but I use my maiden name, Spence, professionally.

I am currently a teacher at Kennett Middle School, which is a part of Kennett School District #39, located in Kennett, MO. This is my second year in this district. I previously taught at South Pemiscot High School, which is part of the South Pemiscot R-V School District, located in Steele, MO. I taught for three years at South Pemiscot.

I have taught a few different grades and subjects. I taught 7th and 8th grade social studies for two years. I taught 9th and 10th grade English for one year. I am starting my second year teaching 6th grade Communication Arts, which is the term we use for ELA classes.

I attended Southeast Missouri State University for both degrees I currently possess. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Middle School Education in May of 2015. I completed my master’s degree in Secondary Education in August of 2016. I am working to earn my EdS from UCMO.
