Growing up, my mother and I connected the most by attending concerts together. She told me a quote once that goes, "When words fail, music speaks." After my first concert experience I was instantly hooked. I became infatuated with the environment that was created during these concerts; the high energy of the crowd, the excitement and look of joy coming from the performers, and the sound of the music soaring through the air. It was then that I realized that I wanted to be a part of creating these special events.

Since the age of 12 I have been to over 25 concerts and each one has only furthered my desire to be on the event coordination side of the industry. To me, there is no better joy than listening to the live music because for one night every person in the crowd is connected by a shared love and appreciation of that music.

I am a natural leader with an keen eye for detail. I believe my organizational skills, gregarious personality, fast-paced work ethic, and craving to learn will help me on my quest to working in the event planning industry. I am a person who is always on the move hoping to gain as many memorable experiences in life as i possibly can.

I enjoy being spontaneous and trying new things. I find myself a little more with every new experience I subject myself to. Networking and making connections with others is something I do often and very well.

Ultimately, I will work best in a fast moving environment that allows me to work with a large number of people and unleashes my creative passions.

I am hoping to find an internship in the Event Planning sector of the entertainment industry. However, I am very open to all other opportunities that may come my way.

When all is said and done I just want to be given a chance to prove that I have everything it takes to be successful in anything I put my mind to. I am a hard worker with an intense intrinsic motivation that could move mountains if I put myself to the test.

I am currently 2 semesters away from graduating, and once I have completed this scholastic journey I would like to find an event planning job in the greater Denver area. If there are any openings or internship opportunities please contact me at [email protected]
