Shelia D Gray
Global Recruitment Architect in Cary, NC
I am a lifelong learner who has embraced the journey that is my life — professionally, spiritually, and personally.
My path has taken me across boardrooms, cultures, and continents, shaping not only my career as a Global Talent Acquisition leader, but also my perspective on people, purpose, and possibility. From leading recruitment transformations to speaking about the future of talent, I remain passionate about helping organizations discover their potential.
Travel has been one of my greatest teachers. Whether walking through the streets of Seoul, exploring the beauty of Ghana, relaxing along the coastlines of Portugal, or experiencing the energy of Hong Kong and London, every destination has reminded me that the world is both beautifully diverse and deeply connected. I believe the greatest gift of travel is not simply seeing new places — it is understanding people.
My travel map has long been guided by these words of wisdom:
“You do not travel any road alone. Get to know the other travelers… notice the speed limit… enjoy the view, because it changes quickly… don’t always stay in your lane… pay the fines that you owe… and remember the guardrails are there for your protection.”
And most importantly:
“You may only travel this way once.”
Beyond my career, I find joy in faith, family, meaningful conversations, great food, international culture, watching sports, Tar Heel basketball, K-dramas, fitness, and creating spaces where people feel seen, valued, and inspired. I believe life should be lived with excellence, humor, gratitude, curiosity, and a willingness to evolve.
At the core of it all, I hope to leave every person, place, and organization better than I found it.
