Shelley Anne Crawford

Shelley is an experienced Executive and Personal Life coach and trainer and Health Ergonomist, registered with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council and the Ergonomics Society.

Shelley's brings her vivacious, insightful and compassionate personality, and added value with her extensive and varied career role experiences, to her coaching profession.

Her training and proficiency is in coaching, ergonomics, organisational psychology, HR management and systems, project management, training,programme and course management & development.

She has worked in small businesses, corporate companies and NGO’s in Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand and Bahrain and has travelled extensively in Europe and the USA.

In the last few years, Shelley has coached executive and management clients, designed and delivered workshops and consulted on human – workplace systems, communication and performance issues for companies in Ireland and Bahrain.

Shelley immigrated to Ireland from South Africa (via New Zealand), leaving the head office of a 3500 employee JSE-registered private education company.

Here she managed the Pension and Disability, Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Employee Skills and Wellness divisions.

Her key achievements were the development and coordination of:

the Group Management Development Programme;

a new Occupational Health & Safety system;

a Group HR Learnership Programme;

a staff wellness programme;

and the procurement of a new Retirement and Pension administrator for the Group.

Prior to this she worked in the University Division. Her flexibility and adaptability to the change process at the time meant she was able to perform in three roles at various times in the division, as

- HR Manager,

- MBA programme manager and

- Special Projects and events manager for the office of the Pro Vice Chancellor.

She also lectured HR Management part-time as part of an MBA course in one of the Group’s colleges.

Before moving to the university role described above, Shelley worked for a renown International Intercultural Student Exchange Programme, AFS.

Here she managed the South African ‘sending students overseas’ programme, and volunteer training in the organisation.
