I am psychodynamic psychotherapist who enjoys a collaborative approach to treatment. I have been engaged in private practice since 1987 with offices located in Birmingham and Utica, Michigan. In addition to performing psychotherapy, I conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of both children and adults. I am a court-approved mediator with extensive experience in conducting child custody and parenting time evaluations for the Wayne County Third Judicial Circuit Court of Michigan. I am employed on a contractual basis for the Family Evaluation, Mediaiton, and Counseling Unit where I serve as an expert witness in child custody trials.

I am a member of various professional organizations including the American Psychological Association and Division 39 (Psychoanalysis), International Association for Relational Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy (IARPP), and the Association for Conflict Resolution. I am psychotherapy member of the Michigan Psychoanalytical Society (MPS).

An avid writer and poet, in addition to my freelance writing, I author a featured column about relationships for Macomb Now, a quarterly premier lifestyle magazine located in SE Michigan.
